How to make a good deck.
Welcome back to AshKetchums.com! Today we are going to look at the top 12 Pokemon cards to transform your old deck to a winning deck. The cards will consist of GX, EX, Prism Star, Energy, and standard cards. If you don't have some cards described here, you can look at the expansion title to the left of the card name. Have fun!
#12 Hippopotas--Ultra Prism
Hippopotas is great for last minute wipeouts. Its attack is Eleventh Hour Tackle. The original damage is 50, but if 3 or fewer cards are remaining in your deck, it adds 130 more damage! Keep it on your bench until the end, you might need it.
#11 Mimikyu--Guardians Rising
This Pokemon sure will Mimik'yu-r opponent! Its attack Copycat can use the attack your opponent used their last turn, as long as it wasn't a GX attack. It could possibly do 300 damage. Wow!
#10 Tapu Koko--Promo SM
Tapu Koko's great with repetitive damage and fast retreat. The Flying Flip attack does 20 damage to each of your opponent's Pokemon. It also has no retreat cost. What a speedy bird!
#9 Eelektross--Burning Shadows
This electric eel does critical damage, but you might have to make a sacrifice.
Eelektross' Vacuum Bolt does 80 damage. You can add 80 damage, but you have to put 8 damage counters on one of your benched Pokemon.
#8 Pyukumuku--Sun & Moon Base Set
This lil' dude needs luck for a knockout. His Continuous Tumble attack does 30 damage for each heads before a tails. Bring your good coin next time you battle with this card!
#7 Double Colorless Energy--
This bland card is simple. It counts as 2 energies instead of one. Great for a GX, EX, or VMAX!
#6 Decidueye--Cosmic Eclipse
Decidueye attacks more than the active Pokemon. Its Skill Dive attack does 40 damage to 1 of any Pokemon on your opponents side. That's great for your opponents weak benched Pokemon.
#5 Slowbro EX--
This Slow-bro might not be fast, but its attacks are speedy! Its Slack Off attack heals 60 damage, but
you can't attack during your next turn. A perfect time to load up energies to use the 100 damage Flash Splash! Slow and steady wins the battle!
#4 Articuno GX--Celestial Storm
This ice bird has a dramatic landing. Articuno's Legendary Ascent ability moves itself from the bench to the active and can take any amount of water energies from your benched Pokemon. A fast loadup can help you use Cold Crush GX , which can discard all cards from all active Pokemon!
#3 Torkoal V--Sword & Shield
Torkoal V has unexpected attacks. Combustion Pillar discards the top cards of your deck. If it's a fire type energy, it can do 180 damage. The picking of energies is great for Torkoal V's retreat of 4.
#2 Jirachi ♢ (prism star) --Celestial Storm
Wishing to win comes easily with Jirachi! The Perish Dream attack puts Jirachi to sleep, but after your opponents next turn...their Pokemon is knocked out. Luck comes withe this legendary Pokemon!
#1 Celebi & Venusaur GX-- Team Up
Tag Teams never come in small packages! Celebi & Venusaur, the very first Tag Team, can use Pollen Hazard. The defending Pokemon is now Burned, Confused, and Poisoned. Now That's hazardous! Its Evergreen GX is even stronger. All damage is healed. If 1 extra grass type energy is attached, all the cards in your discard pile gets shuffled back into your deck, plus 180 damage is dealt to your opponents Pokemon. 2 is always better than 1!
(By the way, these are my actual cards.)
